As usual get the feel of street racing with all the safety features only found at a true drag strip. This event is always a fun and friendly drag competition for all racers. With a Test and Tune style layout, you can run grudge matches or whoever you happen to line up against. No long lines, lots of serious gear heads, and tons of quarter mile passes in a safe & legal environment! All cars and motorcycles welcome.


$100 prize for quickest *street car
$50 prize for quickest *race car
$50 prize for winning bracket racer

*Fine Print: Our basic definition of a race car is any tube frame vehicle or one with an 8 point or greater roll cage. We reserve the right to make this decision based on each individual car's set-up. There will be no special lane reserved for anyone. All cars will race side by side the way it was meant to be! Elimination runs will be held between all brackets for those that want to participate. Cash will be given out the day of the race. A $10.00 fee will be required for each additional race vehicle entered by the same racer.

Yeah. We have two events a year that Kicks sets up at Cordova. One is this one sponsored by Slopny. The other is the Sport Compact Drag Day sponsored by DSMCentral and now AMS as well.

I knew we had 2 just got a little confused. don't want to miss an event, I plan on having a good season.

I can't make it either. My brother's HS graduation is that day. I'll definitely make it to SCDC though.

Unfortunantely, I'm out too. My cousin from San Fran is baptising her first born in Chicago that day. I already worked around something else that was planned that weekend...now this. Looks like is wasn't meant to be!!

Hey I am interested in running here but I need to know some stuff first,,, what all do i need Helmet? bla bla bla-- what about the car do i need an Oin Catch can? can i run my propane? any point in the right direction would be nice thanks

You need a helmet if you run 13.99 or quicker.

Catch can is a good idea, dumping fluids is never a good thing.

I won't be able to make it. According to the doc, Andrea could pop at any time and I'd catch all hell from every woman on both sides of the family if I missed birth of my first kid. I don't need that kinda heat!

On the plus side though, the car should be running this week. I'll just need to get her broke in and tuned in.
