AWD DSM 1
Has anyone else noticed the sudden scarcity of 1g turbo DSM's for sale lately? Especially clean ones. There's maybe 10 on e-bay right now, and a few on the exchange.... with the Trader down they seem near impossible to find! It seems they were a dime a dozen just last year.

Any ideas on possible causes? Maybe they're just getting old, or are too many getting slavaged for the 6-bolts in them, and then turned into scrap (guilty of this myself). It's kind of sad. I know they're not the most attractive cars in the world, have they been forgotten? sad.gif

I say we start a new campaign... SAVE THE 1G's!!!

I agree. There are a bunch for sale on dsmtalk.com though.

Prices are on the rise for a fairly clean DSM. I’m always looking for a good deal, but seems near impossible anymore. Everything I find is falling apart and overpriced.

it's kinda like when people get old, go to nursing homes... then before they die, someone already has dibs on the heart or liver or kidney or something like that.... your right, it is kinda sad.

As soon as I sell the vr-4 I'll be in the market... you selling? wink.gif

BTW - if anyone is interested, I'd trade the vr-4 for a DSM and some cash! biggthumpup.gif

MidwestDSM just got back into the market with a superclean 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. I'd say it was fairly priced for the condition.

Not a chance, Lance! The only way you'll see this car is from behind. And that goes for me too. ph34r.gif

Well, the recent search efforts have proven to me that truely clean 1g cars (especially the 92-94's) are all but extinct. I've found some, but the ones that are resonably priced ($2500-3000) need work. The ones that are rather clean, the oweners seem to think they are gold plated. It's almost to the point where you can find a nice 95 cheaper than a 92!!

I've got my eye on a couple, but if anyone runs across a nice 92, either let me know, or swipe it up! biggthumpup.gif
