Does the shop pay sense they were the one driving it? I am just curious.

I believe most dyno shops do not allow the owner to "drive", probably for insurance reasons.

As long as the dyno operator is not irresponsible, like running a 6000 rpm motor to 10K, there's no reason for tor the dyno shop to be held accountable. They didn't build the motor...and the kid was there to see what it could do. Apparently, it wasn't built for the power level they pushed it to.

That's on a stock 7 bolt bottom end. I believe that's the most HP those rods have ever seen. Now we know why.

Hard to think that they were seriously there to make 500hp and drive it away.
