How many of you have actually done a 6 bolt swap into a 2g car? Was it as hard as Ive been hearing and how big of a pain in the ass is the process? Getting ready to buy a 6 bolt and will be doing the sway in a few months.

I already knew about that I was just curious as to hear some of the stories from people who have already done this and maybe get some advice on things.

I can't think offhand of anyone that has actually done the swap.... I'm sure someone has. I've heard that if you follow the directions on magnus' website, it's very simple.

It is just like dropping a 7 bolt in. You just have to have some different parts to get it to run right. The list that AWD DSM 1 gave you will fill you in on that. There is not much difference between the two installs.
I would also suggest that you get DSM Link to manage the cel code that will continuosly pleage your computer.
Other than that it is pretty simple!

Ive done five now and it's really a breeze after the first time, Ive acctualy come up with a plug and play cas harness for the swap.

I believe there is something you have to do with the side motor mount, the CAS harness. thats all that I can remember.

You have to notch the 2G motor mount so that it will clear the 1G water pump and rewire the cas so that it will give both the cam and crank sensor input to the ecu. It seems that there is a little trimming of the 2G timing cover to fit around the water pump and under the motor mount as well.
