Anybody bought a oil pump lately??

JNZ has the case and gears for about $225

Ebay store guit-guit's Performance parts has one for $125

$225 seems like a lot!
An oil pump is one of the most important life support of the engine and I don't necessarily want to skimp...but Jesus that's alot of cash.

Has anybody had any luck with the ebay stores?

the JNZ one is an OEM part, the ones for cheaper are probably TopLine or some other off-brand, which I have heard horror stories about.
When dealing with the oil pump Id buy the OEM part hands down.

If you read on guit guits sale he said they are over stock items. He has to grind off where it says mitsu just to sell them.

I will take picks when mine comes in.

riiiight. ...or he's grinding off the topline part number. SBR used topline parts until they started having problems. is it really worth the hundred dollars to have a huge question mark on the engine? do it right, do it once.
