I just started driving the old FFGst now that the evo is under the knife.
thanks... its only been down since the day i bought it back in october. so far virtually everything we touched had to be replaced.
its got a rebuilt head, replaced the shortblock, replaced the valvecover(had a wicked bad crack that sprayed oil all over the place), removed all the emissions(due to most of it being missing anyway), replaced the oil pump, replaced the water pump, removed the balance shafts, replaced the battery, replaced the ex man with a ported 2g(due to stock mani being badly cracked), replaced the turbo(due to bad seals in original turbo), threw in an oil cooler, threw on a 144 intake, got some magnacor wires, replaced the suspension with agx's and sprint springs, replaced some ugly interior pieces... i'm sure i am missing some stuff
parts i have picked up but havent installed yet: supra tt fuel pump, ported and polished(i did such a good job, its perty!) 2g tb elbow, uicp(havent decided if i will keep it or sell it and build my own), greddy type s bov, 3" x 10" stainless steel flex section(for downpipe i am building), 3" inlet/4" outlet magnaflow race series muffler. the exhaust will be full 3" from the o2 housing back. there will be a cutout on the downpipe. no resonator, no cat... nothing but pipe back to the muffler
upcoming mods/replacement: aside from the stuff mentioned above that needs installed... radiator needs replaced due to a broken neck, st rear swaybar, eprom ecu chipped by wortdog, 660cc or 720cc injectors, aeromotive fpr, possibly an afc for some added adjustability beyond the chipped ecu, 2-3psi more boost... after that will come wheels. i am torn between enkei rsv's or rays gram lights 57c. it will take 3 months to get the gram lights due to the color i want being a japan only color. the wheels will prly be 17x7.5 with a 35 or 40mm offset. tires i am still trying to decide also.. most likely azenis but not being awd makes me worry a little more about wet weather. after all that will be a fmic and a bigger turbo. most likely go with an evo3 16g, but toying with the idea of a 20g
