Guys
Be advised that if you are planning on selling your car, you shouldnt attempt to sell it if you've run it hard on the streets or on the track. At least this is the word on the streets anyways....
That is all....

long story short........
Someone who is interested in buying my evo locally....was specifically told not to buy MY evo, because I "race" it, or run it "hard" or something like that......
who the hell doesnt run their car hard?

the so called 'idiot' is a well known member on this board, so you might be careful!
and i wouldnt necessarily call it the 'downing' of my car that upsets me, its the pure retardedness behind the idea that because i drive my evo 'hard', it should detour someone from purchasing it..........i thought the evo was a driver's car....you know, one you can hop into and drive it like you stole it??
Not to mention, i dont ever recall a time where i have hurt the car beyond its limits.....its clean, its maintained, it has a factory warranty till january of 2007, and i drive it every day......whats to steer away from?

Wasnt me... Id buy your evo in a heart beat.
I'm not going to name names or point any fingers as to not cause drama
but some people need to realize we are ALL car enthusiasts, and we're into cars because we LIKE driving them, pushing the limits, etc

That is as stupid as Mitsubishi not warrantying rightful warranty issues because their top of the line 'Driver's' car was driven at a race track.
This has never made any sense to me, nor does the problem you are running into TT. There is a difference between driving a car to it's full potential and driving a car into it's grave with disregard for it's well being.
And being well known on DSMCentral or anywhere for that matter has nothing to do with being respected, but it may be the case depending on the individual.

I don't know what the problem is, bring it on because if somting breaks because of the previous owner that means I can replace what ever it is with somthing better.

Mar 21 2006, 05:23 PM
Besides I thought that you were going to have somthing in a couple of months that would send spy home with his tail between his legs?? Why would you sell it if you have big plans for the evo?

Ohhh I see...
You wanted to do some Cii style bench racing with a few cars that aren't running or fully tuned yet. Nah, I think I'll wait to see what I can crank out of my Talon before I make any claims, Dom.
But seriously I'll line up with that GT35r monster whether its 400 or 700HP.

Blah Blah Blah... I can see that your mouth is moving but I don't see any facts coming from it.
Come on, my win record against your plethora of cars is almost as good as my 100% win against Image. And I've raced you probably a hundred times compared to racing Image once when he blew his motor.
Bring it... You and your cubic dollars with professonal tune from IVYtuning & awdnot2 are a sure win, right?
Hahaha... There's no body I love racing more than Spy! Balls to the wall to the Nth degree.

89 Mazda MX6
I did a complete build on my 89 2.2 turbo.A complete topline rebuild kit + ARP's. decked block, dipped, assembled and balanced.New water pump and high volume oil pump.Head ported and polished with a Shadbolt cam.TKT T3/T4 turbo. 440cc injectors.tranny gone through with a phantom grip with green springs, brand new Spec stage 3 clutch and resurfaced flywheel and filled with royal purple.brand new drive axles and also a megasquirt with wiring harness and a laptop with the mega tune software installed.$1000 OBO.You can have the whole car or just the drivetrain for that price.
I live in Springfield IL and we were hit with a couple tornados. My car did not make it.Our tree fell on the car totalling it.I let the insurance laps while I assembled my project so now I'm S.O.L with a crushed car with brand new everything so it's got to go.You can contact me @ CraigKrage@yahoo.com
