Ha, join the club...I was supposed to go to GLD on saturday for the "Real Street Drags"...I just got my stock clutch launching down so I was gonna test this sucker out...

Well, looks like the weather is going to hold tonight. We'll see what the car will do.

I got a friendly race with a co-worker with a Z06 set up tonight, should be interesting! He's never driven at the track before so should be a good race.

I'm leaving 4-4:30. I like to get there early. Hate waiting in line for tech.

I got my tools packed, jack, metric tools etc. You're free to hit me up for what you need in case you forget something. The other guys I'm going with usally bring some stuff too.

I think it was $15-20 last year. I haven't gone this year yet.

Should be a Subaru Forester XT 2.5L there tonight with an STI intercooler and turbo running in the low 13's-high 12's along with a Dodge Dakota R/T with the spray running similar times. Both friends of mine so hope you said hi if you saw them.

I think I saw them at the gas station after the races....I was too tired and pissed to be friendly at 12:00.

Was an extremely packed night. I barely saw the guys I came with. All staging lanes went back to the pits all night. I was running trophy so I got 6-7 runs in since I got to run the special lanes. Won a first round by the way, got beat in second round by a damn bike. My buddies that went with only got 2 or 3 runs the whole night.

Crappy night for me. Best I could get was a 13.3X at 99.X. Slower than last year

First I couldn't launch worth a damn, then I had shifting problems (mental issues).

I'll have to look at the logs today (when the logger was working) and get a better idea of why my mph was no faster than last year, best mph of the night was 101.x. The ported exh manifold, o2 and turbo should have got me more mph.

It is probably the winter jitters. You will come out of it. And plus your tranny was just rebuilt. You might need a couple more runs to get used to it. IDK!

Keep at it guy... I remember the three steps forward and one step back DSM 14b syndrom. Now I can't put together enough forward steps to know what it feels like on a good tune.

Yeah...I kind of got used to getting faster every trip out, not used to taking a step back.

I'm sure the "jitters" had to lot to do with with lack of shifting ability!

I'll hit it hard again after a short break.
