Ok guys the motor will be done in a few days and I still dont have a turbo. I was gonna go with the evoIII 16g ported w/ oversized flapper, but Im not sure if its best. My mods are as follows:
aem fuel rail
fic 650cc injectors
walbro 255 high pressure
3" gm mas
mafs translator
apexi s-afc II
pace setter header
the necessary gauges
ngk bpr7es plugs
rebuilt and "broke-in" motor ( i will beak in the motor before I go putting all this on, of course)

I dont plan on upgrading anything else for a long while so I prolly will get the EIII16g. I just didnt know if there was something better around the same money. The turbo is going to end up costing $692.00 from extremepsi.com

LMK what you guys think.

is there a direct bolt on ball bearing turbo? I dont think so but figured id ask.

Why are you going to "break in" the motor before modifying it???

Just go easy on the boost for a while until the rings seat.

What's your budget? If you have the $ I'd recommend a 3052 or like from forced performance. Otherwise an EVO3 16g would work fine.

well the 3052 sounds like a hell of a turbo but my wallet dont like the pricetag. So I think for now Im going to just get the EIII16g and see what I can do with that.

I dont trust myself. Plus I have always heard to break in the motor in stock spec for atleast 500 miles before doing anything different. Just to be safe this is how Im going about it.

I see where your coming from, but you don't break in a race engine at stock spec before running it.

I was trying trying to save you a lot of work.
