I am currently hooking up the 3" GM mafs. I am not sure how it goes in. I looked on vfaq.com but didn't see any vfaq on it. Can someone help with the install of this.

How do I know which way the air flows through it?

I could use all the help I can get!

I got it on there but the car starts and dies. My translator is setup right for my setup.

There's an arrow on one side of it that points along with the direction of airflow.

are you trying to run a blowthrough setup or a draw through???

I am running a blow through set up. I found the problem to why I couldn't get it to run last night. I found that the plug that is on the translator can go in either way. I flipped the plug around and it started and purred like a kitten.

I also found that the guy I got it from didn't put the TB to intake gasket in right. I had one hell of a boost/vacuume leak. Got that fixed while I was at it. I won't get to mess with it again until after work tomorrow.
