The 2006 All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2006. This year we have a new location. It will be at the Rogers Middle School, in Rogers, MN.

The All Mitsu Cookout is in its eighth year and keeps growing every year. Last year we had 137 cars and we plan to break that record again this year. The Cookout is open to all Mitsubishi built cars and it is by far the biggest Mitsubishi event within 400 miles of the Minneapolis area.

And again for this year we'll have trophies for the car show portion and tons of food for everyone. Plus our sponsors always bring some great prizes.

Complete details about the All Mitsu Cookout can be found at:
http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2006.html

Sign up page at: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=4

Hope you can make it,

Hey guys,

We are up to 73 cars signed up. I've updated the sign up page at:
http://mn3s.org/cookout-list.html

Wow, we have 14 EVOs signed up already. Previously we've only had 3-4 EVOs come. For the first time, the EVOs will have there own class in the show.

So keep bugging your friends to sign up for the All Mitsu Cookout. Its only six weeks away now.

Yeah, its a long drive for some. We have two people from Indiana signed up and another one from Ohio. In years past we always have had people from Illinios and even Winnipeg make the trip. Its worth it.

I might try to make it as long as I don't have to work and the wifey agrees to it. it's about a 6hr drive for me though.

Cool... Once you know for sure, let me know. There will probably be a 3/S coming from the Rockford, IL area and a couple of cars coming from the Milwaukee area. Maybe you can caravan with them.

Hey everyone,

We've got 81 sign-ups now. Things are looking good. I've made a few updates to the webpage at: http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2006.html

The price for the Cookout is $5. That includes you, your car, one passenger, and all the food you can eat. It would really help if you prepaid using paypal. My paypal is cgendron@mail.com If you pre-pay it helps speed up the registration process the day of the show. If you don't have paypal, don't sweat it, just pay at the event.

We are less than six weeks away!

All of my mom's family live up there in the Twin Cities, and it just so happens I'll be visiting them around the 19th. Albeit, I won't have my DSM with me, but I still would love to check out this meet. I hope to be there! biggthumpup.gif

That would be awesome if you could bring both. I know gas prices really suck right now, but I'm still hoping to get a lot of out-of-towners up to the Cookout. Its really a unique event. I've been doing it for eight years now.

We'll also be doing a bonfire after the event at a friends house. So if you are staying over in the Twin Cities Saturday night, you should join us for that too.

I already have some great prizes to give away. Along with the prizes that Mitsubishi sent, I also received 10 maqazines from Performance Auto and Sound. Only about a month away now...

Hey guys,

I've had six people pre-pay me using Paypal. I sure hope we get a lot more. Last year over 30 people pre-payed. If you are coming to the Cookout and you have a Paypal account, send me the $5 to cgendron@mail.com Thanks!

Looks like we have 98 cars signed up. Thats great! And once again I'd like to thank our main sponsors, Brookdale Mitsubishi and LSE Performance. You guys rock!

Hey everyone,

The sign-ups keep piling up. We are up to 108 cars on the list. The current list is at:
http://www.mn3s.org/cookout-list.html

Don't forget to sign up if you are coming. Its takes about a minute to do:
http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=4

One thing to start thinking about is your car sign. You can fill out your sign ahead of time. Then when you check in, the day of the show, all I need to give you is your car number. Here is the car sign you can download:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign.doc

And my example sign can be found here:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign-curt.doc

We are less than three weeks away now. W00t!

Not much time left now.

In the last couple of weeks I've had a lot of people think that the All Mitsu Cookout is at the car museum. It is NOT there. The All Mitsu Cookout is at the ROGERS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

I sure hope we don't have people going over to the museum thinking its there. A map to the middle school is on the main Cookout page.

Thanks,
Curt

Hey everyone,

I've had a few hiccups with my website the last two days, and mn3s.org has been down. Its back up now. Thanks for your patience.

The All Mitsu Cookout is only four days away. At last check we had 142 cars signed up. But we still need more sign-ups!!

If you are planning on coming to the Cookout, remember these few things:

1) Sign-up online. The page is at:
http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=4

2) If you have Paypal, send me your $5 registration to cgendon@mail.com (no credit cards please)

3) Fill out your car sign ahead of time. Download the sign at:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign.doc And my example sign can be found here: http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign-curt.doc

4) Print a map so you can find the Rogers Middle School. I'll have dunce caps ready for anyone who goes to the car museum by mistake. wink.gif

5) Bring a lawn chair for hanging out on Saturday.

When you get to the Rogers Middle School on Saturday, pull into the first entrance at the stop light. This front parking lot is where the cars will be displayed. If you are just coming to spectate or you don't own a Mitsu, don't pull into the front lot. Take the next right and drive around the school to the back lot where the buses park. This lot is pretty close to the main lot and its not very far to walk.

We have eight classes for the Cookout and we have eight rows in the parking lot. So each class will have there own row. I'm not sure yet which category will be in each row, but it will be clearly marked when you get there on Saturday.

New this year is my homemade PA system. No need for FRS radios anymore. Prize announcing and trophies will be done with the PA system. Also, I'm gonna change the registration line. There will be two lines this year. A line for 3/Ses and DSMs, which I will do, and another line for the rest of the classes (Ross and Chris D will do). Hopefully this will speed up registration.

Can't wait,
Curt

Hey everyone,

The All Mitsu Cookout is almost here!! Its tomorrow at the Rogers Middle School. The event runs from 11am to 4pm. I know the weather forecast doesn't look too great, but its a rain or shine event. We'll have a ton of cars, great prizes, and lots of food!! Don't let the weather deter you from coming. Its still a kick ass event.

We've got 150 cars signed up now. Bring your lawn chair, your appetite, your camera, and a little bit of good luck. You'll need the luck so you can win some of the nice prizes we have to give away.

When you get to the school, take the first right where the stoplight is. If you are coming just to spectate or don't have a Mitsu, don't turn at the stoplight. Keep going and take the next right turn. Drive around the school and park in the lot for the buses. Its just a short walk from there over to the main lot.

See ya at the Cookout,
Curt

Hey everyone,

Thanks to all who came out to the Cookout. It was a great event. We had 142 cars in the show. I especially want to thank all the volunteers I had this year. Chris D, Ross, Andy P, Dave, Steve, Matt D, Ed, John S, Oskar, Mike W and of course Stacy. You were all part of the success of this event. I actually had time to go look at the cars and enjoy the afternoon.

Also a big thanks to LSE Performance and Brookdale Mitsubishi. If you wonder why this Cookout is so cheap, our sponsors are the reason why. (or maybe its because I use bricks and duct tape to create signs) wink.gif

Anyways, here are the pictures from the Cookout:
