Hey whats up, I just moved to Peoria, and all I see is sweet camaros, and mustangs, these things are slow as hell, show me a real car, anyone from around here, know anything good to do? any shops?

you can always go to the spot in pekin. that place is fun to go to when want to do something late at night. its right off the river front.

Show you a real car? Are you saying those sweet stangs and camaros don't compare to your Talon? Just curious if you have a wicked setup or not. Where did you move from? Somewhere with a larger import scene?

Most of the active members on this site are in the Peoria area. The only shop that I can think of in Peoria is Winner's Circle on Prospect. I have only been in there once but I got the impression that they cater to the V8 crowd.

"The Spot", aka the boat docks, in Pekin is a regular hangout. Unfortunately it is the only place that I know of that gets a regular crowd. The Willow Knolls shopping center in Peoria used to get a decent crowd but I have not heard of any action there in the last couple of years.

a buddy of mine drives one of those slow mustangs its a red roush mustange with little bit of a supercharger whine to it. if you see it i am sure he will be more than happy to play

Welcome to DSMCentral. If you are wanting something to do the The riverfront in pekin is prolly the most consistent place nearby. Its a fun place to hang out head over centralstreetscene.org and you will see some of the shenanigans that take place.

welcome aboard!! me and a few of my friends are going to be trying to get the willow knolls spot back up a poppin' hopefully soon.

as far as the spot in Pekin goes, which is where i live, its mostly people with mustangs/v8's but most of them are pretty cool. Just dont go down there with a riced out car and start acting stupid.
