Ok another problem I have been having is installing the fuel pump. I have already read the vfaq on it and I know how to do it. Just wanna know how some of you guys got the f***ing line fittings to break loose. I have soaked it in pb blaster for like a week now and still wont break loose.

A pair of vise grips to the bursting point has always worked better than a set flare wrenches for me. Just set them about an inch apart and use the palms of your hands to force them together till they break the connection loose. Once I had the 2 flare wrenches a few inches apart with a small socket (I believe) or something similar Mig welded to the tops of each so I could slide a scissor jack between them and force the connection to break. No longer have the wrenches but where there’s a will there’s a way.

In my case, line wrenches just didnt work well enough...I used the 2 line wrenches, PB Blasted for 1 month straight, and heavy duty vice grips, and none did the trick...
Me and my buddy ended up cutting the entire fitting off, and just using new hose to connect back to the fuel pump assembly...It should be easier to get off now, and definitely solved my problem...Damn thing was sooo rusted it stripped completely off from the line wrenches and vice grips
