I know I have asked this before, but no-one ever tells me what's up

how the hell is it done.... when ever I do it I get a prompt to enter a URL.... do I have to post my pics on the web elsewhere to get my pics to transfer to the forum

If you want to post a pic that is currently saved on your computer then use the 'File attachment' option below the post entry window. I use the browse button beside it to find the pic and let it do it'd thing.

If you are wanting to post a pic that is already on the web then use the 'IMG' button that you are talking about, but before you do copy the URL from the pic you want and past it into the window that asks for the URL.

This first pic is off the web and the second is off my hard drive:

Is that what is left of your motor Marcus? Sorry Ben, Don't mean to go off topic. But Damn!

I kinda see what Ben is saying because I don't have a file attachment option under my post entry window either.

After you click "Add Reply" it should take you to the page where you enter your reply. The next to last option is "File Attachments". Maybe this is only an admin feature... wacko.gif

just upload this pix to http://www.dsmcentral.com/photos/

then copy the photos URL.if you use fire fox right click on an image and select "copy image loction" and then to post it simply click the IMG button at the top of the box were you type your reply and then just past the URL in the box that pops up. it should be inbetween these[IMG][/IMG] and you get this

Somebody give it another look see. I changed the setting so you all should now be able to upload files up to 250KB. I checked it with my non-admin account and it looks good.

Seems to me that Spyder is up to no good! I see HKS cam gears and a Greddy timing belt. I wonder what else this beast has in store....

.... wait. That's IF he makes it to Cordova! HA You better be there!
natedogg
Aha, I finally see it.

Assumptions, assumptions. rolleyes.gif Unfortunately that is not a pic of my setup. It is from a series of pics that I found online about degreeing cams. I have a stock timing belt but I will admit I have the same adjustable gears... and I wonder why I was degreeing stock cams ph34r.gif

As far as making it to Cordova... I have been having a hell of a time getting good cuts on my stainless line. I did the oil cooler with no problem, this fuel line frays really bad. mad.gif This is a 3 day weekend coming up for me so we shall see how much gets done. If I can complete the install maybe some rough tuning can happen through out the week.

Try a cutoff wheel on those lines. I had a hella time with those as well and first wrapping the line in electrical tape TIGHTLY and then using a cutoff wheel to cut straight through the tape has worked the best.
awd4kicks
Braided Stainless line is a bitch. There's just no good way around it. And it gets more dificult as the size of the line goes down. Radiator hose...no problem! #6 or #8 fuel line...@#$% & @#$@!!! laugh.gif
99Spyder
I used the cut-off wheel on the -8 for the oil cooler and that was a breeze. The -6 for the fuel line... mad.gif I am going to wrap the electrical tape hella tight tomorrow afternoon and see what happens. I should only have to make 10 perfect cuts right wacko.gif that should be no problem.
