My wife, brother and law and his friend went out street racing in Indy over the weekend.
My wife let his brother and friend drive the Talon. Yikes. Anyway, Tony (the friend) gets to drive his fathers C4 vette on the weekends. Tony rather have a DSM now

Also, Alex wants one now too.
All it takes is to get behind the wheel once

Kris, what the hell do you have that made a 405hp C5 vette with a 150 shot run? Do you have a low 12s car or something?

Thats funny. I can understand how the Mustang boys fearing us. I had no ideal that Vette owners feared us too. Anyone with a new vette with N02 should not fear a DSM. It would take hella mods to pull on that. Thats just funny.

William, I think you may still be somewhat oblivious to what these cars are capable of. I'm not trying to be facetious here, it just seems that you have been talking more about what a dsm can't do lately, rather than what they can do. You need to go for a ride in Kris's car and then say it still doesn't stand a chance against a juiced vette. It would be a close race and I'm not saying Kris would win. It could go either way, but the vette certainly wouldn't leave him in the dust.

I fully know what a DSM can do. I just don't know what anyone in the club has. I havn't met anyone yet.
Also, it would take alot of nice mods to take a C5 w/150 shot.

Yeah, Kris has a little more than he lets on. But vette's are also overrated. I raced a Z06 from a roll once in my FWD. It pulled on me about as hard as Kris's car did from a roll. Now if they raced past 100-110 I'm sure the vette would roll on to a win.

He must

A little bit of intake and exhaust work. Ya right
That will always take down a C5 in your sleep!

Well William, all I can say is that you need to come down strap your rear end into Darryls, Kris', Nate's (when it's running), or even my DSM to get a real world taste of how fast the DSM's are locally. Obviously this is just a view of the lower end DSM's.
I can understand your hesitance towards believing that DSM's are gaining just as much 1/4 mile clout as the big dawg V8 (Street cars), but the proof is where the action is. If it's not too late yet this year, come on down and get a taste that will make you more proud to own the vehicles that you have!

Or maybe I could throw a party at the house Sunday. Last time I somehow invited people the weekend of a major race
Would anyone be interested in comming to Normal Sunday?
