Had to pull the tranny this fine holiday weekend and decided to go ahead and only do this once , unless needed. Where is the best place to order a SPEC clutch kit from. I am looking towards a stage 3.

Hit me up at andy@booztd3.com with the car you need the clutch for
I sell parts through Titan Motorsports and most likely can you get a much better deal.

Wow..That would be awesome....Its for my 91 Talon Tsi AWD....
Im looking at the Spec Stage III right now, I dont know if you sell the 3+ or if it's even worth the money...Right now Im just interested in the stage III and am pretty convinced, I was planning on ordering thru Titan anyway....Lemme know what you can do, that would be amazingly helpful

Thanks for the compliments. This years videos got cut short because I was sent the wrong clutch by RPS, and didnt realize it until welll.......i toasted it. Luckily they gave me a 100$ credit!
FWIW, I talk directly to a titan sales rep (eric k.) every day for parts, so ordering through me, is exactly like ordering through them.
I dont want to get in trouble for advertising on this site, but I started building a web page for my parts biz and the only thing i have up right now is a manufacturer listing of all the stuff I can get. The address is here
http://www.booztd3.com/Velocity%20Performance/Frameset.html> go to manufacturer listing.....

I never cared for the SPEC stage 3... personally i've always prefered the stage 2 or jump to the stage 3+
I run a 3+ in my AWD and its by far the best clutch i've ever used, I had to put one in my 515whp 03 cobra also... works great in both cars, its worth the extra $100

i just dont like puck clutches. especially in an AWD... They chatter too much, and i've had a spring come out of 4... thats right 4 of the stage 3 6 pucks... 3 of them were on my own car 1 on the 2g, and 2 on the 1G,then spec cut me a deal for a stage 3+ for all my troubles, and i"ve been hooked ever since.
I run an ACT steelite flywheel and stage 3+ on my 1G
and a spec alum. flywheel and stage 3+ on the cobra

Ok guys got it going the other day and just wanted to ask a quick question. The first time I pushed the clutch in , it killed to car. Now it doesnt! whats with that? My alternator is going out and thought that maybe since it put a little bit of a load on it that it just didnt have the power to keep it running, if that makes since.
It goes into gear fine now and doesnt die, although I do have the car hooked to a battery charger to keep it going.
