Well they are not hosting the event this year, but AMS did say they would sponsor/provide some prizes. I'm still working on that aspect of the event.

Just let me know the classes we will work something out.. Always happy to try and help out a local dsm event..

Mark at AMS has informed me that they will provide a $100 gift certificate for first and a $50 gift certificate for 2nd place in each class.

2 Weeks before SCDC. Is everyone ready? This event is set-up for this group specifically so we can have a chance to run our junk down the track, with-out waiting in line for hours. Plus we all get to hang out and really get into the meat and potatoes of what our 4G6X powered cars are all about!

For anyone that is even considering going, please pre-register. It doesn't cost any money to pre-register and if you go it could save you $10 from normal admission price. This will help us gear up correctly for the correct number of people attending.

LOL, you should be bumped up to "Super Stock" given our last run in. The Camaro couldn't stand a chance against you and I know the quad would probably be slower than that. Heck, why not, I'll go 0-2 against you.

My fault I thought he was running a bigger turbo than that. But I am still wondering how you would consider a 16g turbo to be a stock turbo on a 1g?

thats the way it was last year.....but that was last year

Spy is correct about the 16g being ok for the stock class. Otherwise there would only be one or two DSM's out there running stock turbos that could even compete at the same level as the EVO's.

I think where 97TalonTSI is going is there's 2 ways to read the rule. 1-Any turbo the manufacturer has in it's stock pile is legal or 2-What ever turbo (original equipment) came in the car as it came out of the factory.

The Mitsubishi 16g turbo is approved for the stock classes.

Well racing fans, we have ONE WEEK left before SCDC this next Sunday, May 20th!

ONE WEEK! Are you ready to take advantage of a quarter mile track that will be free and clear for as many runs as you can fit in?!?! Is everyones car ready? Have you made excuses to be gone racing that day? Do you have a trailor lined up?

...Get it done.

Again, I would like to ask that anyone interested or that thinks they might be going to Corvova Dragaway this next sunday, please pre-register here. This will help us know the total number coming to make runs. So far we have less than 15 signed-up.

If it comes down to it I will just consider it a track tuning day for myself and anyone that wants to take part in a nearly open track day. I will be shooting for low elevens on the DD Talon this coming Sunday. It's going to take some race gas and 30+ pounds of boost, but I'll line up a trailor so I can go for it!

Just got the cage finished up. Going to get some C16 and do some tuning on thursday. There calling for good weather for sunday, but monday brings rain, and being this early in the week it could move in earlier.. Let's hope its good weather, and as long as it's dry ill be there ready to race!

Hey guys. What is the rules for this event on helmets and roll cages?

It depends on whether it's your first run or your second

A Snell 2000 or newer Helmet is required in any car that runs quicker than 13.99

From what I'm reading the requirement for a roll cage comes when you hit 135 or faster in the quarter mile. (That's not the rule that I remember)

They are checking helmets...both times I've been there this year they checked for the sticker.

11.5 or quicker ETs And or 135 or faster =Need Cage,Helmet,Fire coat!
