Ok, I dont have adjustable cams gears, nor am I putting down tons of horse power but I just wanna know what the best setting would be for my timing. I am just gonna use a timing light and the CAS to do so but what should I set the degrees to? I will be running roughly 18psi and im only going to about 7k in the rpm band.

I want to get this set before i go to cordova tomorrow night!

TJ, I recommend that you keep your base timing at 5 degrees before top dead center. (Yes stock)

With no knock your ECU will give you all the timing that you need.

Advancing the timing will bring the turbo on more agressively, but in the end you will have to pay a hefty price for some sort of engine repair/rebuild. I know from experience.

so it would be best just to set it at what its set to stock?
