SO I haavt the spare turbos formt he vr4, figure I would have a collector/header fashoned and run low boost on it. 4-6 psi shoukld sufice on 93 octane...
Need to have the carbs jetted for the extgra fuel, and have some fab work done to the intake track.... This could eb a project that never solidifies, or perhaps it will.... A Turbo 600 f2 with a soid 150 rwhp would be a fun and exciting venture......
4-6 psi on a high compression bike motor could give you well more than 150 rwhp.
I think a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator would be a good idea to give you a bit more fuel pressure when the boost kicks in kinda like a DSM FPR. I'm pretty sure carbeurated engines don't run as high of fuel pressures as fuel injected engines so and AFPR with a fuel-to-boost ratio adjustment would probably be best, but it would have to be precise enough to adjust the fuel pressure at low pressures. I think hahnracecraft specializes in turbocharging bikes. You might want to try talking to them. See here for some good faqs.
