Well I traded the crx off for a 1994 Dodge stealth R/T (na)

I got it last night was told the water pump locked up and caused it to skip a tooth on the timing. Well I went out and checked it out today and both marks on the exhaust cams are off a tooth... So when it gets nice out I plan on pulling it apart and taking a look at the damage. Most likely going to try and do a FWD TT swap this summer...

Does the car not run at all? The DSM engine has a chance of being ok when one tooth off. It may be ok. Then again the higher compression NA engine may have less piston to valve clearance.

He said it runs but dies soon after... but makes no noises or anything... I havne't tried starting it yet...

deffinetly a PROJECT....

could just be that the timing is thrown way off by the gears being a tooth off why its not running. There would deffinetly be some noises if it was banging valves and pistons....
