Came across this block in some reading about the LSX motors chevy has put out, and that some of the dirt track people are trying to build solid LS7 type motors for late models. This block is basically your standard Small Block 400, built to take LSx heads.
For those that don't know, the difference in design between LS and SB heads basically allows for a lot higher and smoother airflow and combustion on the LS heads. I'm working on a spec motor just out of curiosity to see how much one would cost. Estimate roughly 575-600hp at 10:1 compression.
