The '92s are some of the more sought after years, especially if it's got a six bolt motor and the 4 bolt rear end in it. You might check the DSMTrader to see what some other guys are asking for similar cars.

Good luck!
drewgvr4
if it is a turbo it should be a six bolt block right?
AWD DSM 1
No. The six bolt blocks were used until may of 1992, when they swithced to the 7 bolt version. You would have to check the manufacture date to be sure. The turbo and non-turbo cars actually shared the same basic motor until the 2nd gens came out in 95. Then the non-turbos started using the Chrysler 420a 2.0l.

Is this an AWD or FWD car? I just assumed AWD, hence the 4 bolt rear-end comment. rolleyes.gif

I believe he was aking if they used the 6 bolt in cars that were made in May or if they stopped using them in May.

The switch was sometime in may. Cars made before are pretty well garunteed to have it, those after will not. Cars made IN May are hit and miss. I belive there is a VFAQ that explains how to tell the difference without pulling the tranny.
drewgvr4
well it sounded good in my head. how do i find that page?

you dont need to pull the tranny. You can tell by looking at the oil pan.
