AWD DSM 1
1991 Eclipse GSX - blew the head gasket.

92' AWD - Good engine, good transmission, good rear-end and that's about it.
MidwestDSM
90 Laser Rs Turbo....it drives, but the pass. halfshaft makes noises when I turn, 2nd gear grinds, and 5th gear doesn't like to work....
90GSX
94 Laser 1.8L--runs and drives, but could use some head work, smokes on startup and lifters are very noisy. Automatic transmission slips while shifting. The tach doesnt work either. (I ship off in 34 days, so i dont really care to fix it)
akamiami
92 GSX - runs and drives great, just needs a turbo (sold off the 16G to upgrade)
95 TSi AT - should run and drive, but can't get it started (something in the starter relay or ign. switch....I think)
mark95turbo
91 TSi AWD- Currently eating ECU's (im assuming a short in teh wiring somewhere
95 GST- Slow (T-25 @ 11PSI) and its biggest problem is that its FWD

I also have a 90 Mirage A\T that is technically a DSM it needs a transmission control unit and a temp sensor.

Wha!? Broken DSM's? what are you guys talking about?

92 - AWD Talon currently making the rounds like normal. I'm just resting that one cylinder for a while...
(Only real problem is that is now sounds like a mix between a VW beetle and a Harley!)
wortdog
92 6/4 Talon AWD 5-spd, driving pretty well, A/C doesn't work, clutch won't release above 5,500 RPM or so.
MidwestDSM
Sounds like somebody should have a big car fixin', BBQ eatin mechanics weakend or something. Everybody finds out what everyone else needs, brings it if they have it, fix some damn cars, eat some BBQ, get to know everybody. I for one have only met one person on this board in person...sounds like it would be cool, although probably difficult.
But hey, at least it would get some cars on the road and fill some bellies.

91 laser rst runs and drives but deff has some problems-oil leak, i think the timing belt tensioner is bout to go poop, 2nd grinds bout half the time, reverse pops out every once in a while...prally more im leaving out.
oh and as of about 30 min ago sprung a r fluid leak

91 eclipse 1.8- Amazing condition runs perfect w/ no problems what so ever (too damn bad im a nice guy and am letting my sister borrow it and she seems to not want to give it back...ill prally have to tare the keys out of her hand this summer)

92 AWD TALON-rear end leaks (car's not mine), valve cover leaks, windows racks in down at top of track.
awdnot2
91 GSX low miles, it goes about 3 miles between fill ups
Gas guage no work
Damaged turbine wheel from swallowing a spark plug tip.
Broken ring and/or pinion gear from beating Gary Gardella out of the hole in Dallas. It will do FWD burnouts currently.
Could use some tires.
It pulls to the left
It pulls to the right

It vibrates till around 70, could be tire shake?

Its smooth to at least 160mph.

93 n/a 2.0L with a non-pumping auto trans. i guess the pump is what is bad. and i have another working one on hand, just dont want to drop that tranny again and change it and that not be it. maybe someday it will get warm and i wont mind spending a day or probably a weekend fixing this. then i'll drive it. and get rid of my gas guzzling ranger. 16 mpg is not treating me well when i have no job and am always driving around looking and applying for them...anyone know of a job around pekin, morton, etc.? i'm 17 and need cash bad...change oil, wash cars, office work, i really dont care. im good at it all and whatever is available i will take. PM me! PLEASE! smile.gif

You could always do what i did as of a few days ago. Go work at a mall. I finally realized that ive had this laser for about 6 months w/ out really doing much to it and that i need a cash flow so that she can be what i origionally got her for. Good luck

I have a 1993 Eclipse GSX as my daily driver. The only "problem" that I have is that the lights on the OEM radio/CD player no longer work so I have to feel for the buttons at night (tough to do in the winter when wearing gloves).
Super16G
97 GSX "The Black Bitch"
Warped head.............I hope it's that and not the block sad.gif
jbiggs97
97 gst, everything perfect.......expect fwd

i'll post for me and 4 friends of mine, who are not as computer savvy as i, it goes as follows:
Mine: 90 laser fwd turbo, runs drives, needs body work, MODS and extended clutch slave cylinder rod to be perfect.
Casey: 90 Eagle Talon awd, just blew the head off a 5k motor and is awaiting a banjo bolt to be back on road along with new timing tensioner. o yeah and he needs a rear axle shaft to be back in the awd game. and he needs some body work too.
91 Eagle Talon awd auto, the 5k motor came out of this car (my old car) a used motor was just put in but now it is not getting fuel. damn fuel gushing whore 255!
Karl: 94 Laser awd, blew the year old jdm motor by roasting #3 due to oil level negligence. fully built motor on the way from local shop. btw looking for nice fmic,safc2,and other randomness mods for this car, pm if have for sale.
Steve: currently runs and drives, needs new sunroof, tlc and tuning.
Tony: in garage, currently being finished for strip.

Thats it for tonight but casey and i are planning on a pickup of another fwd turbo with supposedly seized motor, to donate body, spare trans, and buildable core motor.
