hey guys,

someone has an intake from a cyclone engine (from a '92 gsx) and he told me that he would sell it me and it would flow better than the stock intake on my '93 gsx, is this true, if so how good of a gain would i get from this??????

any input would be very helpful to me!!!!!!
dont want to spend money on a no gain item.

I wouldn't put one of those things on my car if it were given to me and I think spending money on one is ridiculous. Basically the increased low end torque is offset by the reduced cfm capacity in the upper RPM's.

Not worth it IMO.

huh.gif ...that's what I think for the poor soul trying to sell a 2G with a 7-bolt every time you tell people the truth on these forums... It's a good thing they know going into it, but it sure does make the sale hard with this much good info running around.

Personally I wouldn't buy a Cyclone intake either, because you can't make them flow any better than stock USDM. However I would buy a 2G 7-bolt as long as I got it for the right price, knowing a 6-bolt would be dropped in soon.
