sounds reasonable to me. 3K for a gsx is what I'd expect it to go for. Low miles if you beleive what he says about the motor.

Either way, that guy is crazy if he thinks that it's making 300 hp.

I only payed $2700 for mine and it has 30K on the bottom end and 5K on the top end and has a bit more than that done to it than that one. Its not producing any 300HP at the crank though. Maybe ~250.
AWD DSM 1
Look around on the trader, sometimes you can get lucky. Just make sure you check it out real good, or you can end up "taking it up the tailpipe".... literally... blink.gif

I have two options:

A). keep my daily driver (2k2 dodge stratus with a 7year warranty) and buy a used 1g for about 1-2k

cool.gif. Sell my car if I can what I owe and then get another loan for about 4-5k and fix that up as my daily driver. what do you think gang?

Keep your reliable Daily Driver and pick up a project.

Or you could sell your Stratus and pick up a couple of project DSMs biggrin.gif

In reality, you're going to need some other car than just a single DSM. I originally bought mine for $2100 with 93,000 miles on the car/bottom end/tranny, about 100 miles on a head rebuild, and 5 miles on the clutch. You probably remember all of the trouble I've had with mine. Spy's cars have had all of their maintenace done correctly, so they're worth some extra money, but there are still things you'll run into that you can't even see at the time of purchase. Like right now my car has a 91 block with a 93-94 head and a 90 tranny. The only original drivetrain components are the rear axles, the rear end, and the driveshafts. Oh, and the turbo, which seems to be on the way out.
