Hey everybody. I just joined the club and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Curt and I'm currently in the Army stationed in Iraq. I refuel Apache helicopters. It's pretty exciting, actually. I'm 27 and from St. Louis.

Anyways, I have a 2000 Galant ES. I had done a little bit to the exterior and system prior to being deployed, but within the last two weeks bought a body kit, a new head unit (Kenwood in-dash DVD player) and euro-style taillights. I'm still shopping around for some new wheels. I have yet to begin to work on the engine. I wanted to do the appearance and sound first. I've already got plans for leather interior and a few other appearance mods.

I don't have any pics of the car at the moment due to my being deployed (wasn't on the packing list). lol I should be back stateside between Feb. and Apr. and will post some pics. I'm stationed at Ft. Hood, TX right now but I'd like to get to some of the meetings once I get back to that side of the world. Until then, I'll keep in contact via e-mail.

welcome aboard! I just bought a Pioneer indash DVD player! how do you like the keenwood?

I don't know how the Kenwood is. I just bought it online about two weeks ago and had it shipped to my parents house where my car is at. I'll get it installed when I get back and I'll let you know.

Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of the club. Well, I have to get back to the birds; can't keep them waiting (pilots are impatient).
