Overall the car is in Good shape. No major leaks, car starts right up and runs smooth. I can't believe how quiet it is with the stock exhaust on it still... (Car is 100% stock, completely untouched other than maintainance issues). I recieved reciepts for almost $4500 worth of repairs done in the last 3 years. Tranny definately has some issues, but that's to be expected. Only thing that's really keeping me from driving it right now is a sticky set of brakes... feels like the e-brake is stuck on (hell, maybe it is!).
Body is the kind of disapointing part. It's about 85%... Couple small spots of surface rust on the roof, scratched up rear bumper, cracked center taillight piece, and a very messed up front bumper will all eventually need to get fixed. There are also some issues with the dash vinyl and rear hatch carpet/plastic.
Over all a good buy though, as I verified it is a 4 bolt/6 bolt combo with about 147k on the clock. Head was rebuilt about 20k ago. I've been working on an upgrade path, and I think I'm gonna take it easy with this one and do one thing at a time to try and avoid a lot of the problems that occured with the 91.
You know, this may be "The One",,,,
But I kind of doubt it...
