A small film-production company out of Chicago is in the early stages of their latest film-project; A documentary about young car-enthusiasts in the Midwest. We are currently gathering information and conducting phone-interviews. Only a select handful of car-owners will be filmed. We are looking for a diverse group of individuals from several cities. I have sent my info in and so has a few others from XICC. I did receive a phone call from Joel he left a message and I believe Benny from CII has been in contact with him. I will be trying to find out as much info as I can and would be more than happy to keep you guys informed.

he also sounds very interested in the peoria area as possable prospects for the video. I told him that there is a strong following for import tuning in this area and he was very optomistic that we can help him find exactly what he is looking for to do the documentary video he wants.

Maybe you guys can clear things up. Im not sure why youd be worried about this being the cops or what not. Ive talked to the guy on the phone he has no intention of having or asking anyone to do anything illegal he could really careless where you race your car. He wants to be able to do a Doc. on the different styles of cars that are out there along with the enthusiasts that build them and what you like to do with them. If that includes illegal street racing then dont sayanything about it.
I do know that hed like t obe able to show up to the AutoX this next weekend and meet some people and do some possible AutoX filming. Anywho from talking to the guy it doesnt sound like BS too me and even if it is hes wasting more of his time than mine. Plus my car is 100% covered so Im not worried.
