The rep I'd been dealing with at OBX racing/SSautochrome asked me to send them pics of their product installed a few weeks back to help sell their manifold. Surfing through E-bay tonight I happened to see my engine bay featured on their auctions!

It was so cool to see my photos featured part way through their ad! Engine bay is loooking pretty different now already and I'm waiting on one with provisions for an external gate but it was quite the surprise to suddenly come across it.

Probably not really newsworthy but I had to share my excitement at seeing some of my in-progress install work up on the net. Should be a Garret flanged one available in quantity soon as well as a 2g ex-man replacement in stainless steel.

Oh and check out that shot of the 144 intake in the same pic. biggthumpup.gif

your car is a "beast"

it doesn't look like the thing is actually bolted to the turbo on your car. Is that because the bolt pattern is for a T3/T4 style with the rectangular opening? Why are they calling this a bolt on for DSM's when the pattern is for a much larger turbo?

Nice price and finish though, much better than that POS Pacesetter unit.

Looks good. Some dyno proof over a ported 2G manifold would be nice though.

Good catch there. They are making one for the Garrett turbo and another for the Mitsu turbo. Long story short, due to some miscommunications and parts timing issues I had a 20G turbo on hand and a Garrett flanged manifold.

They wanted to check fitment and haveat least a partial pic ASAP so I let them know I could wedge everything in place and check placement but that the Garrett turbo wasn't in yet. The 20G there won't match the flange but looks like will line up close enough to factory that the flex section will take up the minor slack.

I'll have a pic in a week or so with the Garrett version with external wastegate provision installed and running. It's been fabbed and they've sent me pictures but it still has to make its way to me.

They are also making a version with the Mistu flange on it and a few of those are done. I'm hoping to get ahold of one to do a little dyno testing on it as well. Looking for a dyno slut in FWD form or able to drop their transfer case though that wants a little free dyno time on me. *hint hint*
