im not sure what's up with my car.. i put a carbon fiber hood on my car about a month and a half ago and it fit perfectly, but that's not the point.. just starting this week, my alarm has been going off on its own. it went off at 3am and woke me up one night and i figured it was some stupid f'ing kids messing around, but then the next day i locked it and it went off 10mins later, i set the alarm again and it went off again in a few mins. my guess is something with the hood connection, since the alarm will go off when anything is opened. ive got the stock latch and hood pins on there and it is latching for sure.. since i cant lock my car during school or anywhere else without the alarm setting (it went off monday and tuesday during class and i had to go shut it off multiple times), i just want to unplug the bastard thing. is there a fuse, or what do i have to do?

It's not hard at all to remove. Just go search Google for the diagram of the factory ignition adn the alarm installation and then just go in reverse and you're done. I did mine in about30 minutes a couple weeks ago.

A lot of time carbon fiber hoods will lift a little bit if the wind blows right. The wind could have been blowing it up and down, which on a sensative alarm, might have been enough to set it off.

You should be able to adjust the sensativity on you alarm (unless its really cheap). That should take care of it.
