October 1st This year we are having a Bon-Fire and Cook-Out Party at my place!

Starting Saturday the 1st. at 7PM and going till it ends. All children and guests welcome.

We will supply Hot Dogs, Snacks and some refreshments. If you preffer beverages of the alchohalic type, feel free to bring them.

Otherwise any side dishes or other food to cook on the grill or Bon-Fire will be more than welcome. I request that at least one person bring some fire wood to help support the Bon-Fires hunger through the night.

Attached are two maps to help those not familiar with my neck of BFE on how to get here. It takes roughly 35-45 minutes to get to my place from Peoria or Bloomington if that helps anyone figure their time schedule.

Please RSVP on this thread if you plan on attending and how many are to accompany you. Pass the word on!

Thanks!
Marcus

Thanks for the offer on the wood guys! I will have a truck this weekend to get some.

Don't forget about this party! It will be a good time. Hopefully I will have some of the goods I will be installing on the Talon very soon.

Who else is going to make it?

I plan on being there and it should be with the Talon as well. I will try to bring some wood of the fire kind as well. I will also try to bring a dish if my no memory ass doesn't forget.

Speaking of not having a memory.........Kris, if you plan on being there I have something for you that you have been seperated from for far too long. I finally remembered to put in in my car in case I run in to you somewhere. In case you forgot what it is, it is long and hard and bends at the end biggrin.gif

We might be there. We have quite a bit going on this weekend. If we bring the new little one, would there be festivities going on inside and outside? Just checking since we wouldn't want her to be outside around the fire and smoke.

Apparently the wife made plans for a BBQ at her friend's house, but it might be earlier. We'll still try to make it. Probably be there later though.

I know that I will be in town that day. I have a prior obligation during the daytime. I am REALLY hoping that it won't eat into the evening.

How about adding one additonal member to this shindig? I have been a member all year, but have never been able to attend anything due to various scheduling conflicts. This one I can make. I will be there with my 92 Talon TSI.

I will be attending alone.

We had a GREAT turn-out! Thanks to all those that made the trek to Washburn.

I had a good time talking to you all and catching-up. Sorry I didn't get to spend much time with any one person, but I'm glad we all got together.

Look for a nother BFE-Fest Next year at this time. biggthumpup.gif

Sorry I missed out, Marcus. As fate would have it, I was actually in P-town this last weekend (drove up to surprise the wife for her b-day, walked in on her and Dan, it's a long story). I couldn't have possibly made it, but I'm glad everyone else had a good time. I'm home for good on the 24th of Oct, so we need to start planning a welcome home party.
