AMS??? Good or bad Options

Ok I am going to AMS next week just to have a base flash done. Who has been up there to have work done? I would think the would do a good job but what do you guys think?

They are kind of expensive too... that'd be really lame if they half assed it. If you do have them do it, let me know how it goes. I was thinking about taking it to them too.

I was JUST there and got the TBE and base flash. I have doubt the base flash adds as much HP as they claim (mines a 9 though) but there customer service is top notch and they answered all my questions....and i asked a lot! I would definately do it all over again!

Kapoosh, did you do dyno time? I was wondering how much more it will be with my mods. Intake, TBE, and Mbc plus a base flash

no dyno time. I plan on doing cams and stuff in the summer so i figure i'll do dyno time then.

can you pm me how much it cost. They quoted 190 for a base flash. Did they log and drive your car too? Or just plug it in and then you where on your way.

Well I can tell you that our work ethic is nothing to be questioned. Most of us work 60 hours a week plus so when we do get some free time we like to let loose a bit. Everyone here is the best at what they do. I really dont think the above should be taken into account when looking for a good shop.

We take things very seriously here whether its a simple oil change or a complete turn key 700 whp car. We have established that name on our front door on the shoulders of the outstanding people that work here. If we half assed anything I assure you that front door would of been closed a long time ago. Do not hesitate to bring your car here. You will not be dissapointed.

Even though it's not my thread, thanks. Makes me feel better about driving all the way up there. It's going to be quite a trip and it would have sucked if it was a waste of time.

By no means was I trying to bash AMS. I was trying to get some word of mouth and some other people`s experience. As far as my opinion of you guys I would consider you the best at what you do that is why I am bringing the car up there. Just wanted to get everybody`s two cents

I know you didn't mean any harm 97, but a good thing to keep in mind for the future is that quoting general hearsay usually does more harm than good. No big deal this time though.

On the other hand its good to hear that others in this thread had good first hand experiences with AMS. I have done business with them in the past as well and have never been let down.

i would say a+++++ on the guys from ams. There work is top notch, fast, great service, very knowledgable, all around cool guys. and i think the 1013 hp evo would speek for it's self.
