What the hell is up with BOTH the Subie's winning? I was under the impression that the EVOs had superior prowess

I am also surpirised at the outcome of that run. The 1st STI pulled ahead at the beginning and never looked back. Sickening!

A very subjective evaluation. Quite a bit is based on the overall driver's experience and the driver's experience with the particular car he is driving.
Motor Trend actually found the Evo X to be 1 sec faster around the twisties than the new STI. Same driver for both cars. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans...shi_evolution_x Great vid none-the-less! |

Here is another comparison that gives the nod to the WRX for individual tests but when they are all put together at the track, the Evo wins. Keichi Tsuchiya is a more famous (and probably better) driver than the others in the video. That could explain why the STi took the win.
Not enough of a difference between any of the cars to really draw any solid conclusions, but it was a good video, Spy. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
