Well I traded the crx off for a 1994 Dodge stealth R/T (na)
I got it last night was told the water pump locked up and caused it to skip a tooth on the timing. Well I went out and checked it out today and both marks on the exhaust cams are off a tooth... So when it gets nice out I plan on pulling it apart and taking a look at the damage. Most likely going to try and do a FWD TT swap this summer...

That was your buddy's car wasn't it?
Does the car not run at all? The DSM engine has a chance of being ok when one tooth off. It may be ok. Then again the higher compression NA engine may have less piston to valve clearance. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

yeah it was... We trade cars all the time lol

deffinetly a PROJECT....
could just be that the timing is thrown way off by the gears being a tooth off why its not running. There would deffinetly be some noises if it was banging valves and pistons.... Good Luck -------------------- "One of the most Crazy and Undecisive Members in central Illinois"
