but does anyone know the size of the socket that goes around the spindle nut. or a way to get the transfercase off without taking the axles off. I dont have that right size socket.....stupid metric system.....

well, everything is unbolted. had to go to work and needed an extra set of hands to drop the tranny. only took 3 hrs. not bad for using hand tools and only the first time doing it alone.
