After 13 DSM's
![]() Got lucky and scored a deal with a local Dealer for a 1996 Mustang Cobra. Apparently this is Chuck's old car from Winner's Circle (if that means anything to anyone). I'll get some pics tonight after I pick it up. Hoping you guys will still let me hang out with "ya'll". ![]() -------------------- The fastest car I own is a minivan....

The 96 wheels have grey or black inserts between the spokes where the 94-95 are completely chrome. You can tell if the shifter is aftermarket by taking off the knob pull out the bezel around the shifter and take the leather boot off with it. Check the side of the handle and see if it is bronze colored or a shiney billet aluminum. The nice thing about the shifter is the stops that will stop you from overextending the shifter past the gear. Most aftermarket shifters have a spring in them for the 2-3 shift so all you have to do is push strait up and you will hit 3rd. I recommend the steeda triax or the pro 5.0 stay away from the mac shifter.
