went out to check on the talon and thought i would try to fix the not going into reverse problem....i figured i could adjust the clutch cause i figured it just wasnt disengaging all the way.....when i sit in the car with it started, if i even move the shifter over towards first gear the car starts to roll forward...when i put it in first it starts grabbing about an inch away from fully pressed down.....i tried adjusting the master cylinder rod but adjusting it both ways made almost no improvement....and when you pop the cap off of the mastercylinder and press the clutch all the way down the fluid doesnt move....does that sound like the slave cylinder?

Like I said before, the last time I saw that car the slave cylinder was bad. If you bleed the system it may work for a short time but if the slave cylinder has not been replaced go ahead and do it. The master cylinder would be good to do while your at it. As said earlier in the thread they're not going to cost you an arm and a leg.
