first off, I REALLY hope you have a logger for all of that. Second, you can mount it where ever you want. It should have enough cord to reach to the glove box or up under the dash or where ever you could ever want it. It might be a bit hard to adjust, but it will still work. It does have to be pluged in though. The car will not run for crap with it unplugged.
