I have a recently acquired 92 Talon AWD Talon TSi that all it needed was a tranny and it was ready to roll. I purchased the tranny that will be going in but I thought I would post here to see if someone is itnerested in buying this or maybe buying parts off of this. The reason I am considering parting it out is because there is the potential to make more off of parting it out considering it is an AWD Auto.
The car just passed the 100k mark. It is running perfect right now, and actually is fully driveable in reverse, just foreward it has some issues. The turbo has no shaft play and doesnt smoke even on start up. Since it is an auto the turbo wouldnt probably go for much, but I figure the 6 bolt motor would sell for pretty decent considering it doesnt have any issues. I will do a compression test soon just to be certain. The car is in good overall shape with most of the body panels being straight, and I know the car has the 4 bolt rear-end. If anyone else is also interested I have a good conditioned AWD auto tranny that I purchased to install Lastly, say I put the car together what do you think it would sell for? From what I can see the car really has no problems minus the usual aging that goes on with a 12 year old car. It is the silver metallic color-almost platinum. Sounds like its almost too much of a pain to do THAT swap. Do you guys think it would be better to part it out or just fix it and sell it -------------------- 1990 Nissan 300ZX T
