Hopefully you are all done now...

From now on I will be taking the liberty to completely wipe out entire threads if the BS is too thick to sort through. I'm not into mamby-pamby thread locking. If we can't have good info we wont have any info.

So keep the questions and answeres clear, to the point and try not to throw in expletives that seem to piss others off.

To the point...
The Blaha works....period
There are a number of them floating around the area and you can probably pick one up cheap enough not to worry about trying to hack up your stock MAS. Basically the resistor makes your ECU think that the outside air temp is MUCH cooler than it truely is. Cool air justifies more air volume in the computers programing. So this little resistor mod justifies any extra air that you are sucking through the MAS with your boost upgrades. The Blaha form of hacking the entire lower section of the MAS, simply cuts down on air restrictions and raises the effective CFM for more performance potential.

The only drawback to the blaha is rough idling prior to warm-up in cool weather. Blaha installs a removable flapper door to cut down on air volume during idle for this reason. It acts similar to a choke and it does the job.

BTW- My best runs were with a Blaha, a 190LPH pump that should have been upgraded and a stock fuel system with no fuel management beyond that. I have never heard of anyones engine being destroyed because they were running a Blaha MAS. People have burned up their pistons by running them too lean while they are using the Blaha though. Only thing to watch out for is the hardware from the flapper door coming loose and getting injested by the turbo.
