i was on vfaq and i cant find how to trick my stock maf by wiring the resistor. does
anyone know how to or where to get the info

I remember seeing a blaha flapper door on the infamous hughes 'fireball' gvr4 back before I could afford such expensive parts. I was amazed at the shittiness of its construction. Truly crappy. I wouldn't put the blaha flapper on my car even if they promised to buy me a new turbo when it buggered up the current one.

Although I think this description falls in line with the assinine one, I agree. I removed my flapper in the summer, but without it in the fall and winter my car would not run properly until warmed up. That crude little flapper did exactly what it was supposed to. I also used lock tite on the nuts when replacing the flapper to help prevent missing turbo fins. It's really not that hard to take the extra time for some preventative maintenance.

In my opinion this Blaha mod falls squarely into the DSM philosophy of building up performance with ingenuity versus dollars. Plus I've seen a well respected car or two that this sort of craftsmanship would blend right into.

Remember it's not how you stand by your rolling money pit that counts. It's how fast you can make that bitch run before it flips you off and skips town with the money you have invested. So keep it clean, keep it cheap, make it productive and tune it to the Nth degree.
