I was getting very little braking before no matter how much I pumped the pedal. I bled the brakes and the ABS unit and now it will have some braking action on the first pump, a little more on the next, and more on the next but it's still not even good let alone great.

This car has been sitting maybe 10 years so I'm guessing Master Cylinder but wanted some insight before I go replacing parts.

Thanks.

I do not have any vacuum going to the power brake booster, so that woosh may just be air moving in and out of the line that is going to the booster.

I would try and hook the line up and see if it helps the brakes.
