So the new clutch is in my car, everything is bolted up, fired her up, and she ran a little rough, but fine.
Then she died. Started up. Then died. Tests show I am only getting spark on 2 cylinders, 1 and 4. Coil has been changed. Still not 2 or 3 spark. Mr. Wort suggested a new ECU, while Mitsu 77 said it could be the ECU, transistor, or cam angle sensor. Any other ideas? I seriously need to get this car going ASAP, and its hard to drive it on 2 cylinders... |

QUOTE (xian 1g @ Sep 3 2004, 10:16 PM) quit dicking around on nicks thread. QUOTE Any body have an extra transistor for a 90 dsm? - you'll have better luck starting your own thread in the parts wanted thread. nick - nice to hear... grounds can be a female dog sometimes... Mitsu is Ryan Retter, whom has been helping me with my car for the last few days (I appreciate it a ton Ryan!), and the 90 transistor is for my car if I need one lol. On a positive note, I started pulling wires from the crank angle sensor and coil pack tonight, after I had alread started her up and she was running on 2 cylinders. She wouldn't start back up. I am thinking this could reaffirm my thought that its a ground, since now I have NO spark. |
