It just started on my '03 Evo. She's got just over 24K on the odo.
C'mon, it's not like I've ever BLOWN a shift into 5th for God's sake - wtf? I imagine it's out of warranty and that they'll gripe about doing it anyway, but... is this a common DSM thing? Thanks... -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

She's running Royal Purple but have heard good things about Syncromesh - I'm ready to change it right this damn minute... just rolled her out of the garage and theres some kind of fluid leaking - looks like oil but don't know yet. If it's from the tran I guess that could be the problem
Shifting from 4th to 5th from around 3500 or higher grinds... Oh, and SS clutch line already in when the new clutch went in. -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...
