Alright when i get up in the morning and go out to my car to start it it takes a while. When i crank it over it doesnt want to start. I turn the key and start pumping the gas pedal and it will start and then die,start and die, start and die. Finally once i get it to stay started by reving around 3500 rpms for a min or 2 it will run fine. If i shut the car down after driving it for a while and then go back out to the car it will start right up. Any help would be apreciated. Oh and i just changed the spark plugs thinking that might be it but it wasnt.

You may also want to check for vacuum leaks. When the car is cold you could have an intake gasket that leaks. Once the engine warms up the intake will expand and then some what fill the gap. Also, pumping the gas only works on carbed vehicles. If your dsm is carbed then you have more problems than just about anyone on here can help you with. You may want to try putting the gas all the way to the floor. This will stop the injectors from firing. If you have a faulty coolant temp sensor and it is telling the ECM that it is colder than what it really is you may be dumping to much fuel.
