when do you work on your car? Options

so, Just a question in general, when do you work on your car?

I'm a late night wrencher.. Generally hanging out in the shop till 5pm close and chit chatting till 7 or 8... and that's when this place comes alive, the music gets louder and get work on my love. we spend the first couple of hours pillow talking and whispering sweet nothings to each other... followed usually with a fight, about something stupid, 'what do you mean i can't stick a bolt there?'....

i enjoy being a late night wrencher though... i find leaving the door open and seeing the truck lights drive down the road while the moon quitely mutters cuss words in my direction to be a bonding experience with my car... but then again, i think i'm nuts?

does anyone elses cars talk to them?

I'm a night-timer too. That's dictated more by schedule than anything. I've had many a late night trying to make my cars run again.

And of course my car talks to me. My old laser and I got into a really bad fight one time, and she got so pissed, she caught fire. Between beating at the flames with a shoe and about 2 gallons of water (I know, bad idea, but was the only thing available) the flames subsided. It took about two weeks of sweet talking and rim jobs before she would speak to me again.
