Cars weren't that fast unless modified or rare, brakes sucked, and handling was akin to steering a washing machine. I enjoy mine, but it's not for everyone. I guess not having an inferiority complex helps. I know it's old, slow, creaks, smells, loud, single digit mpg on 93+, and isn't reliable but hey, it's got character.
