Made it back from Ohio today and the race car is now ready to run better numbers. We have a new turbo, new front mount, and a sheet metal intake. The car made 574 hp to the wheels no nitrous.

Thanks everyone. I have a hard time believing the power out put myself.
Dave was shocked himself by the power output. He actually let me pilot the car on the dyno. The first few runs made between 320 and 350 hp at 15 psi. When then put a boost controller and the next pull I let off b/c I was startled when the tires let loose and when I looked at the boost gauge my eyes almost popped out my head. Anyone want ot buy a VDO 0-30psi boost gauge. The new boost gauge is now an Autometer 0-60psi. Anyway I had no idea our DSM motor was capable of turning 9000+ rpms. For the record we changed to a BR race core front mount, ported 2g manifold, BR sheet metal intake, 3 inch? iC pipe, larger throttle body, and BR 580 turbo internally gated!!! Rob the numbers you posted for ETs are probable. What happens with a shot of nitrous on top of that??? Darryl and Susan Custom Advantage Motorsports www.awdnot2.com |
