My first impressions of it are good. I enjoy the much quicker spoolup and the fuel control capabilities. I have done some tuning with it, however, I'm not finished yet. I'm in the middle of a FMIC install right now, but as soon as I'm finished I plan on some serious tuning. My goal is to be able to boost 20 psi on my 16G on pump gas and keeping my knock below 15 counts. We'll see if that's attainable or not. If the translator turns out not to be all its cracked up to be, believe me, I'll be the first to tell you. Right now things are looking pretty good, though.
BTW, the logger helps a bunch when tuning with the translator. |
