Ok heres my situation, i just boght a 92 Talon Tsi awd 5 speed last week. when i bought this car i had a good 20 min of practice that resulted in one pissed off owner
 anyway ive been driving around and got everything down but now i cant get it into gear, ille be driving and everytime i try to shift into 2nd it goes in i push on the gas and then it likes to pop out  it does it in 2nd though 4th gears every once in a while but sometimes everything is smooth. Also iwhen i come to a stop and down shift into 1st gear i have to ram that damn thing in there because it just wont go. Now i dont know if im just slower than the average bear and missing something obvious, or if theres something wrong with the tranny. I talked to a friend and he had no clue what it was. I just bought the car and really dont want to have to rebuild the trans already. Anyone with some insight into my situation, let me know what you think.

When you change the fluid, you might try pulling the side cover off of the tranny and tightening the upper big bolt. I'm not sure if this is could cause your problem or not. It IS easy to try though.
